Release of the Anhydro Dosing System

Anhydro has yet again released a new technology. This new technology ensures a more uniform powder quality by the ability to control powder bulk density and powder colour.

The Anhydro Dosing System is a mobile unit for easy interchange between spray drying plants. It is designed to inject gas (e.g. N₂) and/or liquid (e.g. CO₂) into the spray dryer feed line after the high pressure feed pump. This means that the unit can run with a working pressure of up to 500 bar. The Anhydro Dosing System uses a specially designed injection nozzle mounted in the spray dryer feed line to ensure mixing of the product feed and the injected gas/liquid. The unit is PLC controlled and can be interfaced with the main PLC systems of the factories.

The Anhydro Dosing System is designed to run in environments with very high hygienic demands and standards. The technology has already been proven successful at several plants within the dairy and food industries.
