Developing Local Partnerships - Anhydro Opened Its China Branch

Shanghai, China, November 2007 - Anhydro, the world's primary supplier of liquid concentration, powder processing solutions, and dewatering plants and equipment, has opened an office in Shanghai to offer first-class technical expertise and service to the fast growing China market.

Anhydro's China office was officially opened on May 17, 2007. In fact, however, Anhydro has been active in China for many decades. Recognising China's rapidly expanding position as a major machinery importer, Anhydro has supplied drying and evaporation equipment and related services for various industries in China since the early 1960s.

Local presence is key

The permanent local presence via the new Shanghai office means that Anhydro is now fully equipped to market and support the complete line of Anhydro Group product solutions for Dairy, Food, Beverage, Ethanol, Starch, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Alcohol and Brewery industries in China.

The new Anhydro office in China recently celebrated the signing of a milestone contract involving a strategic cooperation with China's major dairy-based nutritional producer, Synutra International Inc. In addition, Anhydro landed a contract from a world-leading polymer producer to upgrade its Chinese production plant with the world's largest spray dryer for PVAC construction polymers.
