Definitions

Ethanol is an alcohol product produced from corn, wheat, cassava, sorghum, sugar beet etc. When combined with gasoline, it increases octane levels while also promoting more complete fuel burning that reduces harmful tailpipe emissions such as carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons.

DDGS: Distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS) is the product obtained after the removal of ethyl alcohol by distillation from yeast fermentation of the feed product (e.g. Grain/a grain mixture, corn or other feed material) by condensing and drying at least three-fourths of the solids of the resultant whole stillage  DDGS is produced by blending the distillers liquid solubles on the wet distillers grains before being dried.
