In the alcohol industry, the distiller's wash resulting after fermentation and distillation is dried in a Vetter Tube Bundle Dryer. Afterwards, the distiller's wash can be utilized as a protein animal feed (DDGS). By specific recycling of dried material, a big portion of the syrup produced in the process can be mixed up with distiller's wash and can be dried in the tube bundle dryer.
